Jon Townsin

Jon specialises in personal and organisational development. His practice reflects a deep, more questioning approach to development. In one to one coaching assignments Jon works with clients to reveal the tacit knowledge and assumptions that influence their ability to achieve goals. “The space between what we would like to do and what we choose to do is rich in potential for development”.

With a background in psychology and a Masters degree in Organisation Consulting, his working history encompasses senior Human Resources roles within the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and the NHS. His experience of large scale culture change led him to question the orthodox understanding of growth and change. Jon is convinced that traditional change methods alone are just not sufficient to achieve what individuals and organisations are striving for. “There are practical ways to encourage more fundamental change… and change that sticks”
